About This Workshop
A 2-day industry-oriented Data Science workshop delivered to 2nd year Data Science students at NIBM Sri Lanka — in collaboration with Sysco Labs. The workshop was designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world industry practice, giving students hands-on exposure to production-grade ML workflows used in enterprise environments.
Students worked through an end-to-end Retail Demand Forecasting pipeline — from data preparation and feature engineering to model building, evaluation, and deployment-ready folder structures — mirroring how ML projects are actually built and shipped in industry.
